Move for Inclusion #Feb50

We're challenging you to move 50 miles in February to support inclusion! Will you go the extra mile to support vulnerable families in your local community?

You can run, walk, cycle, or move your body in any way to complete your 50 miles during the month of February. This challenge is a great way to stay motivated and keep up your daily exercise during lockdown. Complete the challenge on your own, with your support bubble or with your children to take a much-needed break from home schooling.

Social exclusion isn't fair. Social inclusion is about making sure that everyone - regardless of age, income, or ability has the same opportunities. You will be helping us to continue to provide vital support to vulnerable adults, children and their families in Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas during the Covid-19 pandemic.

We are delivering shopping, collecting prescriptions, and providing food parcels, hygiene packs, art therapy packs and cleaning products to those who are self-isolating or shielding. We are also providing wellbeing phone calls, support groups, educational life skills classes and sensory facilities in line with Covid-19 secure government guidance. We also offer digital skills training designed to help people stay safe & connected virtually. Such as learning how to use Zoom, WhatsApp and FaceTime.

Track your distance using an app on your phone, smart watch or other device. Keeping safe - Always follow government guidelines around social distancing and where you can exercise!

Share your experience on social media using #moveforinclusion and #Feb50. Remember to tag @helpingangelsca. Ready, steady, GO ...
